Sandy's personal goal is to raise $3000.- for this event and one just has to admire and respect her participation in this 165 Mile Ride.

Greetings from this week's Clubhouse Notes

2 more weeks plus 1 make-up game then the season is done.

At least for us and the other incapable teams like ours which became experts on how to drag the courts. And we truly earned our masters degree this season.

I may have to suggest to our League Officers that the team(s) who have dragged the courts the most during the regular season gets their certificate during the Prom Night.

These diplomas can then be exchanged if ever needed as a full day of "Community Service". It would certainly liven up the otherwise monotoneous ceremonies and give us all something to AIM for, not to be that team.

Has anybody heard any news about the play-off dates?
I keep forgetting to check at the "OFFICIAL SITE" if these dates had been scheduled. Oh well, we will find out soon enough. Bye week next week and haven't heard from team captains yet if we play our make-up game next Thursday.

But with all these wet t-shirt contests going on that night I find it hard to believe we will be playing.

Last week's scores and standings I did send to the Citizen and Ralph Morrow e-mailed me back, yet I believe the fact that it was only for Thursday Night made him decide not to publish it. Unfortunately!

0 - 3, that's twice this season already. 3 more game nights and now the question is can we reach the 500 mark?

The game was a lot of fun, relatively good games but when it came down to make the deciding points we really smelled up the court. Congrats to Charley's on a good game and an even better season as they have practically clinched their play-off spot.

See you next week,
